Tell me, how do you sleep at night
Do you sleep with terror, or maybe fright,
Do you have dreams, or do you have nightmares
Or do you have visions about retribution or bewares.
Maybe though you sleep very, very little
Hoping and praying from God of a soulful acquittal,
Maybe of the evils and the sins that you have done
While your deeds to others were vicious, to you they were fun.
In your soul and mind does evil and sin still infest
Now, for that you truly need very little rest,
In your thoughts does your lies and false accusations ponder
When I think about you and I, my mind will wonder.
I wonder if you have ever shed a true sorrowful tear
Out of nowhere they just don't magically appear,
And just like a treacherous uncaring part of a treason
They are always there as a reminder for that one reason.
Maybe you are sleeping alone on your couch
So, for your own validations you can now vouch,
I still wonder from your evils do you ever really weep;
Please tell me at night, how do you sleep.
