How Patient am I
Your wondrous soul won't let me go,
I shall follow you to the end, my perfect friend,
Go on and do what you must,
I will never try to stop you, you are always free,
My prayer is once again,
you will find your way back to me,
so patient am I.
I sit and watch the rain as it falls,
I must admit I think, where are you now?
I hope you find what was missing in your life,
because I know what is missing in mine.
The world is so large, I feel so small,
you left me to ramble,
so patient am I.
Time seems to have stopped,
I can't bear to look at a clock,
The leaves on the trees have
now left them looking like skeletons.
As the snow now covers the ground,
still I wonder why,
so patient am I.
A can't see beauty anymore,
you were the beauty in my life,
now I feel alone.
I know my hearts beats
but also it breaks for you,
my perfect friend,
Now I know you are not going to return to me,
my patience is gone.
