Huddle Called - Lincoln Park Zoo Poem by Ima Ryma

Huddle Called - Lincoln Park Zoo

Snow monkeys called a huddle to
Get some warm up to shoot the breeze
Here at home in Lincoln Park Zoo,
In a Chicago April freeze.
The huddlers huddled, one and all,
So all of them did look like one,
A dark brown gigantic fur ball,
A come together quite well done.
The huddle lasted a short while.
The bizness of their meeting be
Taken care of snow monkey style,
Then motion made to end quickly.

The minutes of their meeting were
Kept secret to themselves for sure.
