Humans - Poem by Hunter Erickson

She has fallen in love and
handed over her heart.
Her beloved remembered
his hands on her heart.
He betrayed her.
He wrapped his arms
around another.
She remembered
leaving her betrayer

An insightful depiction of deceit in bliss of love, well articulated, nicely encapsulated and elegantly penned in good rhyme scheme with conviction. Love is a spiritual and also a voyage of bliss, it's however whimsical and temperamental, appearing unannounced and may leave without warning, if it's not carefully nurtured at all times to maintain its bliss. A lovely portrayal of courage at sudden exit of love. Thanks for sharing Erickson. Please read my poem THE OBSESSIVE AGONY OF LUST. (Report) Reply
