Humpty Dumpty World Poem by Richard Jarboe

Humpty Dumpty World

Rating: 5.0

Humpty Dumpty world,
Humpty Dumpty law,
You can call me Humpty Dumpty,
Just don't knock me off the wall.

I got an egg shell plan,
'Cause I'm an egg shell man,
With egg shell means,
And egg shell dreams.

My Humpty Dumpty Bell,
Got a Humpty Dumpty ring,
And my Humpty Dumpty friends,
Ask if I still use that thing?

I got a Humpty Dumpty brain,
With a Humpty Dumpty heart,
And my Humpty Dumpty prayer,
I'm too young to fall apart.

For as long as you are wired up like Humpty Dumpty, your great fall is a matter of cruel fate which is inevitable. Beautiful piece of poetry, well articulated and insightfully penned with a tinge of humour. Lovely indeed. Thanks for sharing.
