Hunger Poem by Mashiur Rahman

Hunger

Oh, hunger!
I can do everything to win
Only hunger is my innate fear
All kinds of hunger
Doesn't want to accept any obstacles.

Oops, physical hunger!
When I came to this world from mother's womb
The first cry was due to intense hunger.

Oops, the hunger of youth!
When youth came
Busy all the time
To quench the hunger of youth
I used to get up in different ways.

Oops, mental hunger!
When this mind is hungry
The mind ran in search of happiness
Far above the ground
Happiness was touching me?

Ahh, hunger!
The hunger is gone at last
I took refuge in the grave.
Creator, are you hungry too?
Of course, but not like me!
