Hunger Poem by ANJANDEV ROY

Hunger

The poor beggar is eating voraciously
And seeing nothing beside him,
The noble man has offered him great quantities of food,
It seems the lean beggar has been starving for some days,
He is extremely hungry.
The little child is looking at him in amazement,
Perhaps he has not seen such thing before,
Very soon the pale beggar completes all the food,
He is fully satisfied now,
With a pleasing mind and glittering eyes he looks around;
Then he smiles with his heart's content,
The child feels a different beggar who is all right,
So he is also very pleased,
It's a beautiful world now.
