Hungry Poem by Rob Lamberton

Hungry

Rating: 5.0

My body buys it one day
And throws it away the next
I complained with my ex-wife did it
But the whole world follows after her
Even my own body betrays me

Every movement, every organ
Produces waste
It's a constant fight for life
Every tissue breaks down
No wonder I'm hungry

COMMENTS OF THE POEM

The body works through the organs that perform vital functions. To sustain life, we must nourish the body. A brilliant depiction on how we fight for life.
