Hwao Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

Hwao

They were rebels but today,
They are rulers;
And, each medal hanging over here has its own story,
But, i am Hwao in the land of your sweet muse!
And like, adog eating the coconut fruit.
The caution,
The noble birth,
To revelling compartriots! !
But, it would sound very strange to you because,
The rebels are now ruling.
Of the sciences,
Of grieved families,
But, time and tide wait for no man!
And like human errors around us;
However, to put all hands on deck to satisfy my muse.
To look forward,
The world over;
But, far advanced with the nature of things!
However, i am only human in this land.
