Hydrophobic Poem by Pallab Chaudhury

Hydrophobic

Unlike me it can withstand sun
remoulds itself healing cracks under traffic.
To what extent the load repeats
in the entire life-span...

But at last,
being hydrophobic, it strips off
like bitumen, at points under the green tree.
And so is the worry
I carry with me
all the time.
