I Poem by cheryl davis miller

I

When in darkness, you were captive,
I caused Light to shine on your face.
to awake you from darkness,
and draw you to the secret place.

I came running out, to find you,
before the dawning of the day.
Light shone brightly through your window,
calling, 'Rise up and come away.'

I Am above and not beneath,
ride on the wind, and rule the wave.
Command the Light, drive out darkness,
all for My precious ones to save.

I do not boast, but I declare,
such things are not too hard for Me,
I AM Lord and, I AM Master.
Savior if you will, let Me be.

I Am the same, and I change not.
I've always had a plan for you.
Before your eyes e'er saw the Light,
My heart was reaching out to you.

Can you hear Me, I Am calling
are you listening to My voice?
Do you hear Me, will you listen,
calling, 'Come with Me rejoice.'

As Light dances on the water,
My Spirit dances ore your heart.
Darkness flees as light approaches,
My love, makes heaviness depart.

I Am, calling, do you hear Me.
