I am a spirit—radiant,
a spark of the divine breath,
my body, a sacred vessel,
cradling the trust
of my eternal essence.
It is a temple, alive,
pulsing with the sacred flame,
a dance of light within.
But when my spirit ascends,
slipping beyond the bounds
of this earthly form,
the vessel is no longer mine.
I am free,
unbound by its weight,
its fleeting beauty,
its fragile shell.
Let rites be sacred, or none at all.
Let prayers be whispered,
or silence reign.
Let a tomb rise,
etched with words,
or let the earth lie still,
unmarked, untouched.
None of it alters the truth within me,
none of it shakes my faith.
The mysteries I carry
are not for the world to know.
They are mine—
a covenant between my soul
and the infinite,
a secret held in silence,
unbroken by time,
unmoved by circumstance.
Let my legacy be this:
the transformative power of spirit,
the sacred union
of Creator and creation,
unseen, unspoken,
yet profoundly known.
For it is not my name,
nor the memory of my form,
that matters.
It is the light within,
the eternal flame,
burning beyond the boundaries
of this fleeting world.
