I Am Just A Woman Poem by Brittany Brown

I Am Just A Woman

I am just a woman.
Simple as can be.
Never am I perfect,
Mistakes will always be.
And consequence will cut me like a knife.
I will always find fault with myself.
I will always see room for improvement.
Never will I settle.
I will focus on my physical appearance even though they say looks are not important.
Tell that to everyone that judges you day in and day out.
I will continue to strengthen my faith because God is the only reliable source who will never let me down.
I have doubted him and rejected him but in the end he always wins.
I always realize without him I am weak.
I will always strive to be a better wife.
To show my husband appreciation for being there and reward him for being my husband.
We may fight and that's normal, without battles never come results.
Our difficult start is not a depiction of our outcome for our marriage.
I will always try to be a better mother.
I know I will let my daughter down at times but I want to know I did the best and I loved her.
I want her to look back and see the good times and how I did everything to make her happy but at the same time understand life.
I want everyone to know I am not a competitive vindictive person.
If my will to excel displays that way then I apologize.
I want to apologize to those I hurt and forgive those whom hurt me.
I want everyone to remember me when I die, as a woman who tried to make her way in this world.
