I Am Living In The Constant Zikr Of God Poem by Mohammad Younus

I Am Living In The Constant Zikr Of God

I am living in the constant zikr of God;
His zikr is the essence of my poems;
I have engraved his zikr in my heart;
He's in my thoughts, in my soul and heart;
O my friends! I see Him as the absolute unity;
I will be living in His zikr until I die;
His voice of zikr only helps me to survive;
If you could know how much ecstatic I feel,
My soul's unable to forget His sounding name:
Hu! Hu! Hu! Hu! Hu!
Nothing and none can let me slip from,
The constant zikr of my God;
Cause He has not left me without defense;
The hosts of His angels stand at my guard!
Without his help, with my broken bones,
How can I fight my evil nafs that marks,
The truth of One-reality as false?
For only He is the ultimate truth, the core reality;
In a weary soul His love is a fountain of true belief;
In gloomy days, the divine love is a rainbow splash;
A healing power for the crashed to ground from heaven!
For thirsty land, it's long-hoped rain for growth,
And for me...the Eternal Reality...the Eternal Beauty!
