I Am Myself At Last; A Rose! Poem by Mohammad Younus

I Am Myself At Last; A Rose!

I am myself at last; A rose!
I came to know the truth!
Now I am My very self!
With wonder, I bloom
As a rose, full of fine fragrance
That issues forth from my soul
And I came to know the Truth
I could not be perfect, I wonder
If I had not grown in thornful bushes
Here with thorns I am all myself,
I live as long as my thorns are with me
If you separate me from my thorns
To make a bouquet for your show
That is my final hour in this world
No rose-bush is without thorns!
I send out my fragrance to you...
...on the shoulders of breez...
...only to message that I am near unto you;
Come and visit the Rose Garden!
If you're searching for your rose;
Come out of your wilderness in the desert!
Lost in this desert of the world...
...you can never ever find your rose;
Know in the deserts of the world...
...roses are not grown;
Come out of the deserts of the world!
There is another vision…!
The Rose Garden of the soul!
