I Am Not A Drunk, I Am Not A Funk Poem by Hebert Logerie

I Am Not A Drunk, I Am Not A Funk

I am not a drunk
I am not a funk
I am waiting for the right battle
I will be sitting on a perfect saddle
I am waiting for the perfect time
T o throw the perfect punch
Not to drink the perfect punch
Free of alcohol. We do not do crime
We do not need your dime
We know better than that
We may have a little fat
But we are in good shape
You behave like an ape
Not us. We are united
We practice love and are anointed.
Thank you.
And see you.
