I Am Not Dead Yet
I am not dead yet
I can kick and play
I sleep at night in peace
And I work for whole day
I am not dead yet
I can weep and smile
I have got emotions too
I am one with a unique style
I am not dead yet
I can read and write
I can talk my mind free
For my rights I can give a fight
I am not dead yet
I can feel love and care
Of failure, success, sorrow
And joy I have got my share
I am not dead yet
I too have got a wish
To fight against injustice
To let all live in love and peace
Your freedom to express yourself till the last breath of life is very candidly depicted in this beautiful piece of work! Yes, we all are unique in our own ways! Why should not we exercise our own freedom? The last stanza articulates the bold promise of an honest and sincere man! I love reading these kind of poems! Thanks for sharing...10
