I Am The Mirror, You Are The Face Poem by Mohammad Younus

I Am The Mirror, You Are The Face

I am the mirror, you are the face,
A single truth in time and space.
I thought you distant, veiled from sight,
Yet found you near, in whispered light.

No path to tread, no door to seek,
Your voice resounds—serene, unique.
No journey's end, no road to chart,
For I am both the pulse and heart.

The seeking spans time's endless sea,
Yet every step returns to me.
Whichever way my feet may turn,
Each path unveils what I discern.

Had I but known the sacred sign—
That time itself is wholly mine,
In every grain of desert sand,
In life's vast breath, at my command.

By my decree, all moments flow,
A sculptor's hand through forms I show.
In countless hues, through endless light,
A tale unfolds in day and night.

I am the dream, the dreamer too,
The ancient and the ever-new.
The cosmos hums within my veins,
A symphony of joys and pains.

No shadow falls beyond my sight,
No star escapes my inner light.
The universe, a mirrored sphere,
Reveals one truth—I am here,
The essence whole, the all in all.
