I Am The Tree Of Life Poem by Mohammad Younus

I Am The Tree Of Life

I am the Tree of life—
I bear the similar and the opposite—
two fruits, distinct yet bound.
I am the Tree of Life,
rooted in the eternal.

Once, I was a seed,
cradled deep within mother soil,
her embrace nurturing my rise.
I stood and watched the garden bloom,
life unfurling in every direction.

My roots intertwine, steadfast and strong,
a foundation of strength and connection.
Together, we stand tall—
limbs stretched heavenward,
reaching from my central core.

In perfect rhythm, I breathe:
inhale life, exhale renewal,
a harmony shared by all who live.

From my seeds, new trees awaken,
their veins flowing with my waters,
their essence born of my essence.
Unique, yet forever woven into the whole,
I am the source and the bond.

Between trees, between earth and humankind,
the pulse of life runs through me.
I am the Tree of Life—
eternal, ever-giving,
woven into the fabric of existence.
