I Am Yours, I Am From You Poem by Mohammad Younus

I Am Yours, I Am From You

I am yours, I am from you,
Not lost in the mist of duality,
I am a light from your sun,
Joined while stretched away
like a sunray,
Not lost as a candle lit at noon,
Not lost as a snowflake on a palm.

You love me,
because I am your own light,
and I find you within,
In all your creation,
Your manifestation.
A spirit beautiful and bright,
Yet I am I, who longs to be
Lost as light is lost in light.

Oh plunge me deep in your light—
Even while I am
in the shadows of night.

My senses you have gifted me,
Through these I witness you,
By your grace,
I hear, see, and talk to you.
My senses swayed by the breeze of your love,
I am nothing but the embodiment of your love.
