I Asked, He Answered Poem by Cynthia Buhain-baello

I prayed that I may be used by Him,
In this world that has grown dark and dim.
I had no wealth that I could give away
Degrees in preaching or great words to say.

Then He showed me how He wanted it done
When I started writing poems for everyone.
Poems He blessed with the touch of His Spirit,
With the truth and love He wants all to meet.

Now by His leading I found there great joy
To write for Him and this gift I could employ!
And so like living water all the words did flow
His promise is in them wherever they may go.
