I awoke in my dream,
a dream that is me.
How will I ever
come out of this dream?
Constant nightmares
befall even the greatest lovers.
I see colors and beauty
I've never known before.
What am I to be or see now
before the skies are wrapped
and the stars cease to gleam?
I have awoken in my dream,
a dream that is, was, and will always be.
Where will I go now?
Nowhere—
I will be where I am and where I was.
I want you to feel
the sun and moon smiling
upon my wakefulness in this dream.
For life is as mysterious to me
as it was and will be.
I pray to see myself
in the smile of the sun and moon.
No new thing, unfamiliar to me,
will come my way in this life dream.
Behold, I am what I am,
what I was, and what I will be.
No speculation, no anticipation about me.
