I Behold A Purple Cloud Poem by Juan Olivarez

I Behold A Purple Cloud

Rating: 5.0

I behold a purple cloud
Extending over hill and dale
Never ending, far as my eyes can see.

A magnificent purple cloud
Adhering to the contours of a broken land
Running up one hill, and down another.

Infused with life,
I see birds, and bees, and multicolored butterflies
Flying around it, through it, above it.

Such a majestic royal purple
Dear lord thank you for this beautiful vision
Of the Purple Sage in bloom.

Wow... such a lovely hue to be embedded in your memory. Thank you for sharing it. I was taken back to a tome in New Mexico, when I though I had never seen such a perfect blue sky....still to this day, unmatched. God's own hand to paint these beautiful landscapes. PEACE
