I Blame You Poem by Brooke Ashlyn

I Blame You

I loved you and thought I could trust you
Just start new
You were the father I never had
Nothing like my real dad
But something changed you
I just don’t know what to do
You started to drink
A drunk just like him
You attacked me
I don’t know what to think
I couldn’t get free
You shoved me down and held me still
Lost every ounce of my free will
I screamed and yelled
Shouted for you wake up from your drunken state
My legs you held
Now from me comes all this hate
I wish I could still look at you the same
Still trust you, but the rage just can’t be tamed
You made me hate all men
Hate everything they are
I blame you for this
Guys have ruined my life so far
You’re just another name added to my list
Just wanted to tell you, I blame you for this

A very, very sad but well written poem. I really hope you can find some peace in your life. Nessy x
