I Boomerang Poem by Michelle Claus

I Boomerang

Rating: 5.0

I am alone
even though
Earth is billion-peopled

It's not to say
I haven't connected
Connections come and go
like seasons
and chapters

To whom is promised the fairy narrative?
To whom the epic tale?
Do these souls dwell in a parallel?

Truth nourishes a distant world
through our human cords
umbilically

Here is where the story ends
and Epilogue's a starry sky
Here is where we kiss Goodbye

I've always known
Alone am I

We can be surrounded by many people and feel alone if we don't connect with them, a great poem.
