I Call Not For Rhyme To Save Me Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

I Call Not For Rhyme To Save Me

I call not for Rhyme to save me
When I be cornered in my Verse.

But more rely
On the Rhythm of the Verse.

That my heart be, unlocked
And bleeding.

I know
I know
It be honesty
It shall be sincerity.

As for the bleeding
Every drop cries sincerity
And cries
‘To the last drop I shall be shed for honesty'

Values are here writ and sealed in blood.

And there shall be turbulence in nether waters
