I Came Along Poem by Vera Sidhwa

I Came Along

I Came Along

I came along a small waterfall,
And it gurgled messages to me.
I translated it's,
Which mesmerized me.

It told me how pure it's water was
And how humanity had threatened it.
It said that I should spread the news,
And tell people how much there was to lose.

This waterfall had nature's charm,
Of talking to me out loud.
It's message was clear,
As a clean white cloud.

I told humanity of this conversation.
It looked away from me.
This humanity told me,
It was not interested in the waterfall's story.

Verily, the waterfall loses water but it's not at a loss, there's a message to mankind
