I Broke Some Dishes Poem by Vera Sidhwa

I Broke Some Dishes

I broke some dishes today.
I just wanted to play,
But my mom and dad didn't like it,
Even one little bit.

I spilled some fun water on the floor,
But my big sister did not adore,
This display of my humor.
She didn't think it was funny.

I think I'll just stop having fun,
And be a boring one.
I don't know what can be done,
Today or any day.
