I Can Be No More Poem by Stephen Simpson

I Can Be No More

I am who I am, I can be no more
A reflection of my past and projection of my future

Stained by my sins and those of others
But purged for the next steps and what comes hereafter

Employing my echo’s to assemble my dreams
And to teach my dearest valued lessons learnt

I am who I am, I can be no more.
But tomorrow I my stride a little bolder and talk a little older
