I Can Feel You Poem by Em Jay Christian

I Can Feel You

I can feel you,
Your fingers,
In my hair,
On my skin.
I can feel you,
Your kiss,
Always a certain longing,
A pull on my lips,
Like sucking,
The juices from,
A peach.
I can feel you,
Your hands upon,
My hips,
Gently gripping me,
No longing sweeter than this.
I can feel you,
Your lips,
On my ring finger,
A promise,
A signature,
In a sense.
I can feel you,
Your arms,
Locking me in place,
A gentle safty,
A closeness of our own.
I can feel you,
Even though,
You can't be here,
I can feel you.
There's a healthy amount of irony,
In the fact that you,
Have always been so far away,
But I can be closer to you,
Than I could have ever been,
With any of them before.
You're six thousand miles away,
But I can feel you.
