I Can't Remember Poem by ANJANDEV ROY

I Can't Remember

Rating: 4.3

I saw this,
Yes, I surely saw this,
But where?
I can't remember now,
It seems strange to me,
Though I try repeatedly to call up,
Still I fail,
This is absolutely true and beautiful
In every sense,
I think and think
From the very beginning,
But all my efforts prove futile,
Suddenly the great thing happens,
As my pure and pleasant conscience advises me,
"Dear friend,
You can never recall the wonderful thing
In this harsh and ugly realm."

Try recalling something else that's really difficult and then suddenly a bell will go off aha that was what I was trying to remember from the time before. As one door opens and another one closes. Our minds can be so compartmentalized. Everything so divided, yet so interconnected. Why I do not know for the life of me. Excellent poem keep up the good work.

You have forgotten to remember That you were a member Of the memory club Your brain failed to dub All the stuff mentioned at the office Are not things of peace Because war is boring Deadly but leaves you snoring From March to September Or April to December
