I Can't Write Anymore Poem by Shalom Freedman

I Can't Write Anymore

I can't write anymore
I have been defeated
Everything I write
Means nothing to anyone

I am done

But I perhaps have years ahead
And no other work dream

I am writing these lines
So I suppose
Will write again

I am the old fool
Who repeats the same thing endlessly
And continues to expect a different result

Is this poem too
Worth somehow more
Than its no readers now
Say it is?

You judge yourself too harshly! We are all the same, thinking our writings Will not remain, Or even afraid we cannot write again, But talent always wins over time And your poetry is, Not just a mere pastime. Yes your Poetry is much more Than just a waste of time. At least, I sincerely think so!
