I celebrate my self

I hide the face and cry
I have nothing except to feel shy
Where my forefathers have brought me!
On the crossroad to remind me that I am not free

What the liberty and freedom have to do in India?
Where the public is granting you rights to adopt corruption
Corrupt political leaders take the shelter of public opinion
And indulge in the practice of fraudulent option?

Does the democracy still wait for distributing wine and sarees?
Woo the public by announcing schemes at the cost of Government funds
Hurl the defaming words to look tall?
And feel no shame in stalling the process

We shall witness something more
And feel helpless and sore
Let there be no free schemes
That openly loots public money

We have topped the democracy system to add money by several folds
The person who was pulling cycle is now the billionaire
Rape, corruption, and murder is the routine matter
Who shall emerge on the scene and alter national scene?

I Celebrate Myself
