The dates escape my memories,
But I clearly remember, that then,
We had only eight or nine years of experience.
I clearly remember,
Our matches of Badminton;
And our wishes to go to Washington.
I clearly remember,
Our fightings to fetch for the lost Shuttle;
And those of the UNO cards, as to who would shuffle.
I clearly remember,
Eating Maggi twisted in forks;
And the Art class strokes.
I clearly remember,
Going to tuitions together;
And enjoying every bit of Kolkata's weather.
I clearly remember,
Every moment that we have spent with one another;
Like a pair of real sister and brother.
I not only do remember,
But will always remember;
For moments die, not memories.
