I Commit Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

I commit
Tuesday,8th September 2020

I wonder
and shiver too
under the spell
and do not well

what makes me think?
when I try to put ink!
on the blank page
about the dark age

I commit adultery
much against the wishes of an almighty,
is it not a pity?
does it not silly?

the purity of mind is miles away
yes, I stay
in the midst of the human ocean
and put up the brave scene

the desires bring me down
and make it known
human lives are dangerous
you do anything to become famous

it is the only animal of its kind
where you find the treachery,
deception and love too
still, believe in the purity of the life
