I Complain Because Poem by Hebert Logerie

I Complain Because

I complain
Because I am in pain
I see too much killing
Too much lynching
Too many killings
Of my innocent siblings
Too many hangings
Near the rusted rings.

I complain
Because of so much chagrin
I cannot take it anymore
I am going to break the main door
To defend my brothers and sisters
Who are resting on the steel stairs
Darn! Leave them alone
I am recording you with my phone.
