I Didn't Realize



I'm sorry for the tears
That I made you cry
I'm sorry for the times
When you said, I didn't try

I'm sorry for the nights
When I did not hold you
I'm sorry for the pain
That I put you through

But what I'm most sorry for
Of all the things in my life
Is that I didn't realize just what I had
When I had you for my wife
