I Do Know My Steps Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

I Do Know My Steps

I desire mercy and not sacrifice,
For you may either be a royal subject to me or a rebel;
And like the many dead bodies i do see around me.
Even if i am drunk, i do know my steps;
So don't go into my office and disturb my books!
For out of them comes wisdom to teach the world all over.
