I Don'T Know Why Poem by David Blake

I Don'T Know Why

Into the darkness I stare, wishing I knew why.
Even when she is lonely she refuses to think
about when she used to love me. How can I
dream, how can I ever again love or pretend
that life can exist without true love. I have
seen the future and it is nothing without you.
My heart beats with a rhythm that is out of
time, just another day suffering without you.
I search in vain, longing to here you say
my name, but you are gone. I am left hear
alone searching, with nothing to call my own.

It sounds like a boo hoo story. Ha, sorry about that, but when your heart is torn asunder, you pick up the pieces and move on. There's always more girls out there in the world...It just may take to time for your heart to be ready for another possible heart-break. You wrote an alright poem.
