I Don'T Love You Anymore Poem by Brandon Lucero

I Don'T Love You Anymore

Rating: 4.5

Just had to sweat
Just had to lie
Just had to puke
No alibi

Just had to steal
Just had to deal
Shaking till my bones break
Vultures gather round
Picking me apart

I'm almost gone
A sinewy shell
Can't you tell?

But I don't love you anymore
I grieved your absence
Till my sanity restored

Indeed the passage of time does restore ones sanity after distress and heartbreak experienced in love. A well articulated piece of poetry written with intensity and conviction. Thanks for sharing. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON.
