I doubt
If there will be a writer
of the stature of Salman Rushdie
So bold, so courageous
And so daring,
Undaunted,
If there will be,
There will be again
A writer like Salman Rushdie
Speaking the truths,
Hidden facts and secrets
Of our society, art and culture.
