I dream of being a mermaid,
Wild and free.

Of swimming with my dolphin friends,
And riding the waves, where there is no end.

I dream of being a mermaid,
Beautiful and sweet,
I would lure you to a watery grave,
Or merman you would be.

I dream of being a mermaid,
And chasing you through the reefs,
And our mermaid children,
Would laugh with glee.

I dream of being a mermaid,
And being happy all my days.
We would have that great big ocean to roam,
As our playground, and our home
