I feel peace in the rain
As I trudge to the graves again
You can't tell I'm crying
Because of the water falling
Flowers in my hand
As I cross the land
Memories flash before my eyes
As I think of their early demise
They should have lived longer
But alone I am left to ponder
I have no one to talk to
As the graveyard I go into
I fall to my knees
The rain no longer gives me peace
My hand travels across the gray stone
The names etched in, their own
I stay for awhile and sob
while my head begins to throb
I leave after an hour
The taste in my mouth sour
And I repeat the cycle each week
Although the days look bleak
Because I feel peace in the rain
As I trudge to the graves again

I'm so very sorry for your loss....but yes, the rain has a way of refreshing things & washing away the sorrow. Take heart in knowing that our loved ones have never really gone - they've just stepped away for a moment, , , waiting...till you're reunited once again. Peace & blessings to you my friend.
