They ask if a tree falls alone
Does it even make a sound of its own
But if a person falls and crumbles
When after it all they tumble
Do they ever call out
Or do they remain strong and stout
Because no one is there to listen
And they remain in a silent prison
But if they do, what does it resemble,
a scream that makes mountains tremble
When the strongest of people break
Is destruction left in their wake
Or has it been so long
That they know only how to be strong?
So there is nothing more than a gasp
As everything slips from their grasp
So when a person falls with no one around
Do they even really fall, do they make a sound?
Yup - they sure do make a sound.... a great big resounding UUUMPH! lol Very well expressed :)
