I put head down and feel shame
As there are no words with me to blame
It is not age alone but environment
That makes heart heavy with resentment
I read news reports and feel with deep concern
What has happened to lovely man and woman?
Why so much rage exist against small flower?
Who has not even opened mouth fully to utter?
Two years old girl is raped and thrown
To the far away place remained unknown
Why do we blame young age alone?
Where have gone the good old days?
I fear coming days may prove more troublesome?
No one can be trusted little ones at home?
No visitors can be entertained with free welcome
Good neighbors are now feared and prove worrisome
The incidence may be looked in isolation
Yet it speaks of bad test with relation
It speaks of sick mind with no thoughts
Such tendency is certainly to be fought
