I Feel Stuck Poem by Oge Nwankwo

I feel stuck...
Not the way you feel when you're in a corner
Much worse than the feeling you get from a thorn
Its the feeling of being torn
Sworn to secrecy by hopeless Pride
Torn between submitting to the fiend
This feeling of, 'Ah, this really sucks.'
This feeling that makes me want to scream F***!

I feel stuck inside myself
Between what and what, I do not know
Has anyone else ever felt like this?
This restlessness that nests in your chest?
This feeling that separates you from the rest
Afraid they may not be keen to the fest
You laugh and smile and fake through the test
You feel a sense of losing your sense

When all thats for sure is you in-between
When all that been wrong is all that you knew
And now you feel this world so new
Guess life is a vacumm just sucking up time
Life is a faithless slippery grime
The loss of everything you call mine
The loss of base and truth's a crime
To gain the thrill of doubts and slime.

You hardly stood and yet you fell
The hopelessness now in your voice
You hardly lived and yet you died
And all, once fact, is now a lie
All that was peace and love are vile
Serenity won't be here for a while
I feel the fell of my sanity whole
I feel like I am stuck in a hole.
