So here I am, back on my couch
Thinking of you all night out
Struggling for words to write a poem
Explain without you how lonely I am

The sky doesn't matter nor the earth
With your absence life's not worth
I get no pleasure in worldly things
Everyone except you are just human beings

Things are so different with you around
I feel alive, my joy knows no bound
Only those moments of a day I remember
We talked, walked or were just together

I often wonder, if you feel the same
Keep turning, keep hearing you call my name
Fine with me, if you feel no such thing
You were, are and will always be my darling
