Sweet Confusion Poem by Manav Darjee

Sweet Confusion

Words sometimes surprise me
With their inconspicuous nature
Sometimes they are amply available
And sometimes escape capture.

Latter is the case when
The mind is so confused
Whether it should be working best
Or stay in a romantic mood.

Don't blame him though
It's not his fault
Sometimes he chooses to company
Old friend, stupid heart.

Heart, the naïve, the soft,
Is a creature of emotion
Governed by youth and beauty
Thru the laws of attraction.

Today brought ample reasons
For the heart to live again
To rekindle the dead fire
To drench in the beautiful Rain.

Now I feel, I believe
Angels exist not only in a tale
They live and play around me
To occasionally appear and amaze.
