I Fell In Love Wth An Angel Poem by Edwina Reizer

I fell in love with an angel,
an angel in disguise.
I fell in love with an angel.
I could tell when I looked in his eyes.

Angels are perfect in all God's ways
and no man is supposed to be.
But when God made you my dearest,
He threw away the key.

One like you was enough for Him
and of course enough for me.
The first time that we kissed my dear
it was so heavenly.

And why was I one to capture the prize,
this angel in diguise?
Maybe creation had plans for us
to cherish our love and be wise.

So as I look back and visualize
just how we did meet,
I realize dear that your angel wings
swept me off of my feet.
