I Figured Out The Problem - Poem by Leslie Alexis
The problem is that I can be seen;
That I am a breathing
Living, human being.
If I was just a thought
Then you would love me -
My ideals are worthy;
As a perception, I have dept.
As a person, I have death.
If I was just bits and bytes
Then our relationship
may have seen new heights
But instead I was made of this mud
And cursed with this thing called blood
That took a perfectly good perception
And made it into a reality,
Unworthy of thee.
